As part of the EFL Week of Action, 2 players from Accrington Stanley Football Club made a special appearance at Altham Primary School, joining students during their physical education (PE) lesson.

The PE session was filled with energy and excitement as Ash Hunter and Nelson  Khumbeni joined in motivating students to give their best effort. The children had the unique opportunity to learn tips and techniques directly from a professional athlete, which made the session both inspiring and memorable.

The EFL Week of Action celebrates the power of football to bring communities together and promote positive change.

In addition to the physical activities, the players also took time to speak to the pupils about the importance of respect, perseverance, and leading a healthy lifestyle. They shared personal stories about their journey in football, emphasizing how hard work and a positive attitude can help achieve success both on and off the field.

The students were thrilled to meet a real-life footballer and left the session buzzing with excitement and inspiration.
