We are excited to announce our Easter kicks sessions that will run throughout the school Easter holidays. All the sessions completely FREE!
Starting on Tuesday 2nd April we will be delivering 6 weekly sessions at different locations across the area for all young people aged 8 to 17 to attend for FREE until the end of the Easter Holidays holidays! Thanks to funding received from The Lancashire Police & Crime Commissioner the sessions aim to offer positive activities over the holidays for young people to get involved with during the evening and reduce anti social behaviour over the 2 week break.
Lee Walsh, Head of Sport explains ‘We are looking forward to once again being able to offer young people the chance to get involved with sports over the holidays. We regularly hear that young people have nothing to do and we hope this will help address that.’
The sessions will cover a wide variety of sports and activities including football, cricket, basketball, rounders, netball and the project also incudes a youth club held at Stanley Sports Hub on a Friday evening.
If you would like to register to take part in any of the activities please complete the form below, this will help us predict how many young peoiple to expect. However you are also welcome to simply turn up!
